I would like to see a public bulletin board added so we the people could post things of interest. With a bulletin board the public would have a place to post things like they have on Oldham County on line has. Just a thought.
P.S. I do like LaGrange web sight theres a lot of info here. Keep up the great work.

Thank you for giving the bikers of Oldham County an opportunity to ensure that any new noise ordinance is written to be non-discriminating. We look forward to hearing the revised reading next month. Thanks again!

Fair is what we are all about, but remember it works both ways...We try to protect people from things that adversely affect them...which extremely loud noises do when most people are sleeping.
So, if you just happen to ride your bike through a dark neighborhood while revving it up as much as possible, that is not fair.....if you are just riding through town doing the speed limit with your friends nobody pays much attention. I used to be (and I guess still am) a drag car and pull truck enthusiast, so I can tell the difference between going about my business or trying to irritate someone because I can....and I bet most people know the difference too. Common sense is what it is about (and this is the Chief's view also) but as we all know we have to have rules for the extremists for all things. Thanks for commenting and keep coming to the council meetings...they are better than TV when you get into them.

I think you need to update the calendar and events for the year 2006. Everything now is about 2005. Just though everyone had been to busz to do this. Also are we having a farmers markets this year.
Thank you so much for letting us know about the calendar, but I think you may be looking at discoverdowntownlagrange.com, we'll pass it on.
Lots to do with the move to New City Hall and we sometimes need folks to help us keep things in line...and yes we are having a farmers market... I believe it starts June 10th 'see you there' Elsie
