CITY OF LAGRANGE

ORDINANCE NO.  14-2008

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE EXISTING OLDHAM COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE

WHEREAS, the City of LaGrange has the authority pursuant to the provisions of KRS Chapter 67, 100 and other applicable law to amend ordinances; and,

WHEREAS, Oldham County Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended the repeal and replacement of the Oldham County Comprehensive Zoning Ordinances; and,

WHEREAS, the LaGrange City Council did advertise and conduct a hearing on the requested repeal and replacement of the Oldham County Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, and said City Council having voted to grant the requested replacement at its regular meeting on January 5, 2009.

            NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAGRANGE, KENTUCKY, as follows:

1. That the present Oldham County Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance with all amendments is hereby repealed.

2. The newly presented Oldham County Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance is hereby adopted in its entirety as follows and is attached hereto as an exhibit and is fully incorporated as if set out in its entirety herein:

INTRODUCED, SECONDED AND ADOPTED, at a duly convened meeting of the Governing Body, held on March 2, 2009, after first reading held on December 1, 2008, signed by the City of LaGrange Mayor and attested by the City Clerk, filed and indexed as provided by law.

            This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage, approval and publication according to law.
