ORDINANCE NO. 2-2009

AN ORDINANCE REVISING THE ZONING MAP OF

THE CITY OF LAGRANGE

            WHEREAS, on March 2, 2009, the LaGrange City Council did conduct a public hearing on the recommendations of the Oldham County Planning and Zoning Commission for a zoning map amendment on approximately 23.75 acres located at 1201 Commerce Parkway in LaGrange, Kentucky, 40031.

            WHEREAS, the Oldham County Planning and Zoning Commission did recommend that the property be changed from R-2 RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO R-4 RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT.

            WHEREAS, the LaGrange City Council did review the recommendation of the Oldham County Planning and Zoning Commission and conduct a public hearing to receive additional evidence and comments.

            WHEREAS, The LaGrange City Council did vote to approve the recommendation of the Oldham County Planning and Zoning Commission adopting the findings and reasons and binding elements in support thereof.

            NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF

LAGRANGE, KENTUCKY, as follows:

            The property located at 1201 Commerce Parkway in LaGrange, Kentucky, 40031, more particularly described in the attached exhibit is changed from a zoning classification of R-2 RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO R-4 RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT.

The property in the attached exhibit from date of passage and publication of this ordinance pursuant to law shall bear the zoning classification of R-4. Also adopted by reference as if fully set out are the Binding Elements adopted by the Oldham County Planning and Zoning Commission on February 5, 2009 and the Binding Elements adopted by the LaGrange City Council at its meetings on February 9, 2009 and March 2, 2009.

            ATTACHED EXHIBIT MADE A PART HEREOF AS IF FULLY SET OUT.

This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage, approval and

publication according to law.
