ORDINANCE NO. 4-2009

 

            AN ORDINANCE AMENDING 17-99 THE PERSONNEL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES AND CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN FOR THE CITY OF LAGRANGE.

 

            WHEREAS, the City of LaGrange has adopted a Personnel Policy and Procedure

and Classification and Compensation Plan which needs revision:

 

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAGRANGE, KENTUCKY AS FOLLOWS:

 

1.            A new job classification of a position of Major is created in the Police Department of LaGrange with a salary range of $50,000 to $60,000.

                        The job description for this new position is attached hereto and made a part hereof as is fully set out.

 

2.            All remaining provisions of the Personnel Policies and Procedures and Classification and Compensation Plan not in conflict with this ordinance are hereby reaffirmed.

 

            3.         This Ordinance to be effective after passage and publication according to Law.
