City Hall & James Beaumont Community Center
City Hall is OPEN for Business. Citizens are permitted to enter through the front doors and will receive service in the lobby. At this time the YMCA/Community Center will remain closed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but at this time keeping our community safe and healthy is our priority. If you have any questions please reach us at 502-222-1433.
Also after concurring with our Oldham County Health Director today and listening to her concerns about group gatherings of any type, I, along with our Parks Director, our YMCA Partner have decided to close the James Beaumont Community Center until Monday April, 6th. We will be monitoring on April 6th. with our School System, Health Department Staff, State officials at this time about the safety concerns that may still remain. We would prefer not to have to take these steps, however; we do have many different age groups taking part in all different kinds of activities daily at the Community Center. This is certainly a precautionary measure in trying to lower the curve statewide in trying to lessen the potential spread of this virus. As of today, our Health Director requested that all Little League play at John Walsh Park be halted as well. Hopefully, if we all join in together to try to get this virus contained, we will all be able to get back to our normal daily lives. Thanks to everyone for being patient with these announcements...Stay safe, wash your hands thoroughly, and take care of your family! Thank you - Mayor Black.
